Stepping Out Of Attachment Strategy & Into Present-Moment Connection

Join attachment expert Heidi Priebe and certified Radical Honesty trainers Lindsay St. Antoine and Tony Shawcross for a 3-day urban intensive in attachment healing and embodied honesty.

This workshop weaves together attachment theory and embodied honesty. Together, we will explore how attachment strategies live in the body, how they shape the ways we connect and disconnect, and how to begin practicing new relational choices in real time.

Through guided exercises, relational practice, and honest group dialogue, you will begin to experience what secure attachment feels like—and how to embody it without self-abandonment.

What You’ll Learn

Many workshops focus on attachment styles as labels or concepts. This weekend goes further: it is a practice-based immersion where theory meets body.

You will learn to:

  •  Recognize attachment strategies as they arise in real time.
  •  Use new tools for embodied honesty that you can apply in daily relationships.
  •  Practice techniques for noticing and revealing previously obscured patterns.
  •  Tolerate relational discomfort without collapse or withdrawal.
  •  Experiment with secure attachment in a supportive group setting.

"Trying to master attachment theory and trying to heal our attachment trauma without approaching the integrative work might feel nice ... until we get triggered again. This workshop is a perfect marriage [of theory and practice]."

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is for anyone who’d like to gain more knowledge about attachment theory, and for those who are ready to move beyond theory and into lived experience—those who not only want to understand attachment, but who want to gain new skills to practice secure, body-centered connection.

The workshop will likely be a great fit for you if you love Heidi’s YouTube videos and you’ve been eager for opportunities to practice what you’re learning!

This intensive is LGBTQ+ affirming and welcoming to people of all identities and backgrounds. We are committed to creating a space where everyone can show up fully and truthfully.

Please note: The practices we’ll use are experiential and can be emotionally challenging for some participants. You can expect moments of strong language and occasional raised voices—always held within a safe, supportive container. We invite the full range of human expression, while also teaching tools to stay grounded and connected in the process.

This workshop may not be a fit for you if you find strong language or swearing offensive, or if you are currently experiencing strong emotional triggers that make it difficult to be around intense feelings and expressions in others.

This is not a therapy group and does not replace professional mental health care. If you are under the care of a therapist or other mental health provider, we encourage you to consult with them about whether this workshop is an appropriate fit for you at this time.

"If you have anything in you saying, 'I’m kind of interested in this and I’m kind of scared' … just do it. Follow that impulse. It’s changed my life."
